GTA IV - what I think

GTA IV was my 2nd most favorite sandbox game since GTA: San Andreas in GTA IV you play a Russian man named Niko Belic new to america trying to pursue the american dream... but Niko wants to kill a man that has betrayed Niko's squad in the army.

GTA IV has a large range of vehicles like boats, ground vehicles, and different kind of helicopters no planes (which I wanted!) but the vehicles are fun to use and with mods you can add planes with the mechanics of a helicopter if you are really that desperate. There is also 2 other DLC's you can buy for the game which makes the story more interesting because they have something to do with Niko Belic's life in america.

Many of the missions are about killing people making money or doing favors for your friends to know more about the person you are looking for. The storyline of the game gets more interesting over time and you can face betrayal of your friends. If you get bored of the missions you can enjoy the vehicles in the game because of the mechanics in the game.

Dead Island - what I think

Dead Island, this game is pretty good I have waited for this game for a very long time. I found out about this game when I was just browsing the internet for news about new games or soon to be released games.

In Dead Island the main thing you want to do is leave the island, well I would too if there was a zombie outbreak. There is 3 different types of areas in this game and Zombies isn't your worst enemies, in fact humans are, since there is a lot of rioting going on and all that stuff.

There is a large range of weapons in Dead Island, and you can upgrade them with certain "mods" to inflict even more damage or damage over time. If you finish the game you can also restart the whole game again without losing your own level or weapons. The leveling system in Dead Island is good, there is 3 different trees to go through to pick your right talents to setup how you would like to play your game. the screenshot below shows the talent tree

The story line in Dead Island is fun you have to go through many troubles, saving lives and all that stuff to finish the game. There is a huge range of side missions to complete, or you can simply just go for the main missions and complete the game in a quick time. Doing side missions can increase your level and unlock you even more mods and give you money to buy weapons guns or whatever.

You can also pick different characters in Dead Island when you begin the game. You can be either a blunt expert, sharps expert, weapons expert, and I'm not sure what the other one is, I picked the blunt expert since there would be a lot of blunt weapons in a game like this especially in a game like this.

There is also a good multiplayer system in the game. You or others can simply join each others game it will simply just ask you to press a button to join there game or for them to join yours this can be fun because sometimes you can complete your side missions quicker or you might get some free items from random people if they are that kind.

I totally recommend this game if you like killing zombies collecting weapons and upgrading them and if you like leveling up and spending skill points on a talent tree to make your game play even more fun also if you like joining randomly into peoples missions or letting them join yours at any giving time in the game then go ahead and buy the game.

My short gaming history.

I will be talking about how I started gaming. Well the first thing I actually remember about me gaming is that I had a PS1 for my birthday as my very first gaming console and I just remember playing the crash bandicoot demo all over again. My very first game I got was Driver 1 that game was probably my most favorite game because of its driving mechanics the graphics was awful back then but that was the older generation of gaming.

The next console I bought was a gameboy. It was a fun handheld gaming console there was a large range of games such as once again crash bandicoot I played that game a lot it was very fun to play since I usually had to go wherever my parents went.

The very next console I got was the GameCube that was just epic the graphics was epic at that time etc. The most epic game I bought for my game cube was going to be burnout that game was pretty good since I am a great racing game fan.

Then I got the PS2. This is where I started to spend a lot of my time playing games. There was so many great games on the PS2 like GTA san andreas. that game was very fun and there was a large range of things to do when you are done with the game such as fly planes and mod cars and also if you are really bored then you can do taxi missions.

Now the PS3. The PS3 was one of my greatest moments I wont forget about. I remember unwrapping it and playing Gran Turismo. I was shocked of the graphics since it was almost real. that was a incredible moment. Then I got the Xbox which didn't go so well since I had a red ring of death on it on the seconds month of buying it.

and now finally! THE PC! The PC is awesome you can do whatever you want. Also I think its best for shooting games such as CoD I say this because you can actually aim with a mouse I think its more simpler like that but i'm not sure about how you would like to play a shooter game. After seeing the epic Seananners play with the xbox controller I knew for sure that the controller was for him. I don't think I will switch consoles for now or maybe until GTA:V releases and another consoles comes out with it then I will have to get a console...

Call of Duty Modern warfare 2

There has been many reviews about the Modern Warfare 2 but I'm going to talk about how I feel when I play it. I will be talking about the gameplay, graphics, the players, and game types

When I first played MW2 it was on my Xbox when I play my games I usually play the Single player   just to get a taste of the game play and what you can do before jumping straight to the multiplayer. The story-line in MW2 is pretty long it took me about 6 hours game time to complete (to me that is long since I complete games in a very short period of time) the story is fun and simply just by playing it you just want to know what will happen next so you wont be getting off your console/pc any time soon.

The multiplayer is fun but there's one type of player that gets pretty annoying, well guess what kind of player it is. A noobtuber these are pretty common MW2 since it is very simple to get kills with a noob tuber but if you truly have skill then you can easily get a kill with your gun. When I played multiplayer it took me a lot of time to pick the perfect class I had to go through every gun to find my perfect weapon. The thing is when I recently tried to play a match of TDM (Team death match) the most common type of match that is played online it took me a pretty long time to get a group, approximately 2-3 minutes.

Overall the game is good it's so far the best Modern Warfare I have played, well there's only 2 released and soon to be the MW3 which I hope hasn't got any ideas from Black Ops, since I dislike that CoD. If you enjoy having a large range of weaponry and if you like to play many kinds of matches against people, such as free for all, team deathmatch, or capture the flag, I recommend buying this game. The experience is even better if you have friends over your house to play or if you have friends online that also have the game you can play with. But there is some bad stuff about it such as the noob tubers, and the wait time for the game.

Saints row 3

                          Saints Row: The Third

Hmmmm I'm not exactly sure what to say than "If you are not getting saints row 3 you must be out of your mind or you simply just have other things to do..." or just chill out and fill your mind with it like I'm probably going to do now. Well saints row 3 it's not exactly released yet but its meant to release on the 18th of November in the UK. There is a lot of things to do like mod your car and fly planes close to the sea. Or simply do missions. The story line of saints row is just so good it's clearly awesome I recommend getting Saints row 1,2 and if you enjoyed both then 3.

What I'm going to do is just tell you information about 1 and 2 without including number 3 I might add some information into it but if you don't want to know the information and just simply find out in the game then simply stop reading! In saints row you are meant to be a gang member. Well dude! how did this character become a gang member well basically you walk on the street as if you are carrying a lot of money and about to own some noobs. Then a gunfight happens in the middle of the street! Then a dude comes up to you and tries shooting you. Then the boss of "The saints" comes and saves you from being shot. Then invites you to be in the gang. and you do some missions etc.

One thing I like about games is car modding, upgrading, all that kind of stuff it just sounds so fun and that's what I like most about saints row! It's a shame they didn't have that in GTA IV if they did then I would cry from so much fun. Another thing I like about Saints row 3 is the jobs... the most awesome job is the health insurance fraud... It's just funny laughing at your main character sliding from the hood of the car to the rough grip from the floor...

Speaking so much about saints row reminds me of the awesome features about saints row 3 and now I want it really badly I have to waste time until the day has come... Well I will probably do that by playing skyrim... But I have to complete it before Saints row 3 releases

PvP, or PvE in World of Warcraft

PvP or PvE? World of Warcraft

Hello! Just to let everyone know I have been playing world of warcraft for 3 years and I have a game time roughly around 200 days on 2 characters. I play a Restoration druid with an off spec of Balance I use my Restoration spec as both a PvE healing spec since that is what it is mainly for and for PvP since I don't do much of it even though I love it. Before I started playing my druid I used to play a Death Knight since my raiding guild needed a tank and because of the WoTLK release I just was excited and decided to make one it was only for PvE sadly.

PvE what I think about is really different to a lot of other peoples idea because I think PvE is the same thing all over like a life cycle but with a Dungeon, Heroic, Raid Etc. I kind of lost my interest in  raiding over time well I lost it when Firelands patch was out every time I was raiding with my guild I was just getting bored and tired I felt like I wanted to sleep early and I wanted to quit the guild and when I did I still felt the same. As a resto druid I find WoW easy especially in PvE I come top of the healing meter etc and I'm not trying to show off because its true. But sometimes I felt that raiding was missing that little something that we don't have much of these days TEAMWORK. Teamwork is probably more rare than the rarest thing in WoW which I forgot. Teamwork is important when ever I raided it's usually "lol dude ur dps is low" or "ur healing sucks dude" saying these kind of stuff isn't cool. As a hardcore gamer I expect people that want to raid and if someone does something wrong I want them to tell the person "Do the job right or I'm removing you from the raid after a few goes" PvE in world of warcraft for me is not the best thing in the world I would still do it but I prefer having a team full of talkative people that enjoys talking about stuff in game and not stuff outside of the game and stuff they thing is funny when its not.

A huge problem for me in PvE is finding a guild. When my last guild I was in disbanded I told my friends if I don't find a guild in this days then I'm leaving the game. Which was a good idea since it was so addictive and team eating. More to the point I only applied for guilds that is so dedicated in their raiding unfortunately lets just say they was jealous of my skills and decided not to take me in... Well they actually said sorry but you know nothing about your class and your gear is crap. If they know the meaning of skill they would of invited me to a trial and actually decided to take me in as a recruit because i was topping in healing. No not the over healing.

A big problem in my mind for new raiders is "Noobs" yes noobs what will they do? Because when I was a noob and started to raid I was told to get PvP gear and from then on I messed up real bad until a wonderful guild took me along and helped me out until I left them then joined a even more friendlier and social guild which I really enjoyed but sadly they disbanded not long ago.

All I can really say about PvP is "EPIC" it's just awesome you can own and own even more It's not exactly a cycle it's simply just use your brain and think of a tactic to counter the enemies base attacks or in arena to LoS the enemy and "pwn the nubs" PvP is pretty fun this actually requires TEAMWORK well sorry but if you don't like teamwork then it's not for you since PvP requires a lot of teamwork. If you ever watched the PvP games which was hosted this year in Poland, Warsaw, then you can see a lot of teamwork in the world of warcraft section of the stream Instead of just sitting there and staring into their monitor and spamming 1 they scream at each other and telling them what the opponents might be planning on doing. This is the kind of action I love in world of warcraft.

Well here's my conclusion PvE can be fun in some ways and bad in some ways what I like in raiding is socializing and dominating other guilds into becoming a top guild. In other words talking a lot and having OP armor. But then there's the bad things about PvE raiding such as the cycle I feel in the raiding and the no teamwork in the raiding.

And for the PvP in WoW. Well it's good since it has stuff like: Rated Bg's, Normal Bg's, 2/3/5'vs and also the intensity of the action if you ever played 5v5's with crazy people that likes talking a lot well don't think your not going to get a headache in 5 minutes. The teamwork is needed for PvP and if you succeed then it's from teamwork since we need each other in PvP here is an example, Warrior has 5k hp Resto druid heals him back to max health to own 10 other people.

If I ever start WoW again it would most likely be PvP. Since Rated battlegrounds sound like fun and being so overpowered that you feel like you can take on anyone you want in Durotar or you can simply just walk into stormwind and just kill everyone that tries to kill you but can't. It's just one of those feelings you get after you buy the full PvP tier and a new PvP weapon in one go. Incredible.

Oh, one more thing. For the horde!

PS3 vs Xbox vs PC

Xbox vs PS3? I'm sure you see it a lot since there is a lot of fan boys always saying stuff like Xbox is better than PS3 without even telling them the reasons. Well I have a PC an Xbox and a PS3 so when I hear people saying Xbox is better than PS3 I always have to jump in and ask them why and the answers I get is. Xbox is better because my friends have it. PS3 is better because it wont get red ring of death. Well they both fit there purpose TO LET YOU PLAY GAMES! And another thing I never hear in this kind of discussion nobody ever brings up PC which really makes me mad.

Since I'm open minded about a lot of stuff I think both Xbox and PS3 suck in some ways. Because I spend about 6 hours a day playing games on a weekday and over 12 hours on a weekend I would expect my console/PC to work properly without breaking. Xbox let me down by overheating and giving me the RROD (Red ring of death) PS3 does an good job with this. PC can work for hours without over heating unless you live in Turkey and play for around 6-12 hours.

Another reason I think PC is better is because it's actually worth having since the games that gets released have there own graphics options you can actually put it to the max unless your on a tight budget if you are on a tight budget then stick to consoles but if you have a fair amount of money to spend then you might as well get a PC even though when you first get it you might spend a lot of money but then again you can replace parts instead of buying a new console when it gets released. PC is once again cheap on the games. £30 for a game? So god damn awesome its better paying £40 for a console game. But for consoles you can simply just sell it for another price when your done and dusted with the game this is one thing I want to do with PC games but it's to underrated and only very few of my friends have it

A problem that makes me mad sometimes is that some games aren't really released on the PC on the same day as console this can happen sometimes such as getting a game like GTA:IV a few months after it was released on console. Well at this point talking about games being released on console before PC well some games are actually restricted for other consoles here are some good examples. Gears of war, Gran turismo, and last but not least Resistance, these are some good games even though my most favorite action game that is restricted on another console is Gears of war and my favorite racing game that is restricted on another console is Gran turismo.

Storage. Hmmm storage you say? Yes storage. Storage for PC is awesome but sometimes you cant really trust it. Maybe someone steals your computer or maybe your house burns down ( I'm guessing you wont be thinking about your games at this time) maybe it happens all your games are gone. But for PC there is a way of getting your games on an account where you can simply just re download it to another computer and simply just launch it without another CD all you have to do is register the serial code then bang magic happens the game is locked onto your account. You can do this buy getting Steam or Onlive for your computer. But there is a problem. What if you get banned or hacked? and your account gets permanently banned? Well lets just say I'm not exactly sure and it is probably going to be gone forever. But for consoles you can simply just store the games somewhere. But remember what if something happens to them and you cant get it back.

I have probably had consoles about 6 years of my life and nothing was better until I had World of Warcraft and started to switch to PC gaming and from what I experienced from console gaming is that it is awesome and almost as good as the PC in some ways. But I will be sticking to PC until the game industry stops producing games for PC (Probably because of so much piracy) or if my computer just breaks on me and I cant somewhat repair it.

The graphics on a game is extremely important to me if the pixels are the size of the blocks in the wonderful game of minecraft then I will most likely go mad and punch someone in the face. The most awesome graphics game I have ever played will probably be Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 I can't wait for another Crysis to be released so I can experience the perfectness of the wonderful pixels. and battlefield 3 well I can't explain how awesome it is since its just a dream come true its something I thought would never happen when I was playing crash bandicoot on my PS2.

This is my very first blog feel free to tell me some tips or ideas what to write about.
